A Nuyorican conceptual interdisciplinary visual artist who was born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx. Recipient of a 2020 Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, among other prestigious awards, she has exhibited in Italy, Spain and across the United States. Museum exhibitions include The Studio Museum in Harlem, El Museo del Barrio, Bronx Museum of Art, Pérez Art Museum, and the New Museum. Medina is currently a professor at SVA’s MFA Art Practice program and lives and works in New York.
