Regarded as one of the most outstanding figurative artists of his generation, Ealy Mays was mentored by Jacob Lawrence at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine before embarking on an international career. Exhibition history includes the Guggenheim Museum, the Louvre, and the Hammonds House in Atlanta. His work is also included in numerous prestigious private collections, including The Joyner Giuffrida Collection of Abstract Art.
